Minnesota hosted Nebraska Saturday night and the Golden Gophers, for the sixth time this season, took care of business.
The Golden Gophers won the game 34-7 and the game was never really in doubt. Minnesota completely controlled the line of scrimmage, out-rushing Nebraska 322-151.

After the game, Minnesota coach P.J. Fleck talked about his running backs and one thing in particular they did well in the 27-point victory, as well as defensive lineman Sam Renner and what he means to the team:
"He's the unsung hero of the defense. He can do multiple jobs… He's tough… He's the guy you want with you when there's crisis." Coach Fleck closes out his time at the podium discussing Sam Renner's impact on the team.
