So far in 2019, what more can Minnesota fans ask for?
The Golden Gophers are a perfect 6-0. The team’s offensive line play has improved, the pass-catchers are playing really well, the running back depth is growing thanks to bodies becoming healthy and quarterback Tanner Morgan is playing good football.

For Week 8, Minnesota will be favored to win once again. The Gophers are traveling to take on a 1-5 Rutgers team that has an interim head coach after firing Chris Ash.
On Tuesday, Gophers coach P.J. Fleck spoke with the media about where his team is at right now, as well as himself:
"Being a better coach isn't just about being good on the field. It applies to every aspect of life. I find ways to make my staff better and in turn, they make me better." Coach Fleck on improving as a coach.

Fleck said he came to Minnesota to make a difference, and his team is doing that right now. Well, coach, you’re certainly a part of that success and difference-making as well.
Minnesota-Rutgers is scheduled for a 3:30 p.m. ET kickoff and will be televised on BTN.
