P.J. Fleck still can’t believe Chris Autman-Bell’s late fourth quarter TD catch

You may not have seen it because the play happened past your bed time.
At least, the play happened at a time in which you should have been asleep. To close Saturday night and Week 2 in the Big Ten, Minnesota got a late start to its game at Fresno State out on the west coast.
In the fourth quarter, the Golden Gophers trailed the Bulldogs 28-21 with 46 seconds remaining. Minnesota faced a 4th-and-13 on the Fresno State 20-yard-line and went for it all. Quarterback Tanner Morgan looked Chris Autman-Bell’s way and flung the ball to the corner of the end-zone.

Autman-Bell made a ridiculous catch to send the game to overtime, which led to Minnesota’s 38-35 double OT victory.
On Monday, two days after the incredible play, coach P.J. Fleck is still stunned at what took place late Saturday night:

Thanks to Autman-Bell’s catch and Minnesota’s toughness in overtime, the Golden Gophers are 2-0 overall going into Week 3. Minnesota is scheduled to take on Georgia Southern at 3:30 p.m. ET on Saturday. The game will be televised on BTN.
