Another Michigan staff member will be headed to Arizona to join Jedd Fisch’s staff.

MLive.com reported that Keith Dudzinski will be joining the Wildcats staff for the upcoming season. Dudzinski spent the 2020 season at Michigan as a defensive analyst. He will be the outside linebackers coach at Arizona and will also assist with special teams.

The news comes after Fisch, a former assistant to Jim Harbaugh at Michigan, hired Don Brown to be the team’s defensive coordinator. Harbaugh let go of Brown following the 2020 season.

“Arizona Football is extremely excited to welcome Coach Dudzinski to the Wildcat Family,” Fisch said in a statement. “Throughout the years, coaching in the Northeast, I have witnessed some of the great defenses Keith has coached.  Collectively and collaboratively, Don Brown and Keith Dudzinski have put out some of the top statistical defenses in the country. The opportunity to unite them and have Keith coach our outside line backers and lead our punt coverage team is great for our program. We are excited to welcome Keith and his family to the Tucson community!”

Prior to his one-year stop in Ann Arbor, Dudzinski served as the associate head coach and defensive coordinator at Albany (2018-19), a promotion from being the program’s safeties coach from 2016-17. He spent five seasons at Maryland, coaching inside linebacker from 2011-14 before being named the defensive coordinator in 2015.

Dudzinski also has stops at UMass (1998-2001, 2004-10), Northeasters (2002-03) and Brown (1994-97).
