Former Texas starting quarterback Casey Thompson has numerous teams interested in him, with 2 coming from the B1G.

Thompson is fresh off visiting Nebraska and has his full list of top schools. He’s looking at Indiana, Oklahoma, Auburn, and Missouri in addition to Nebraska.

Thompson started for Texas this past season but with Quinn Ewers now there, he knew it was unlikely he’d keep his job in 2022. Thompson finished this season with 2,113 yards through the air along with 24 touchdowns and 9 interceptions.

His best game came on Nov. 13 against Kansas, which was a wild affair. Even though Texas lost 57-56 in overtime, Thompson had 358 yards passing along with 6 touchdowns and one interception.

Before committing to Texas, Thompson was part of the 2018 recruiting class and was the No. 6 player in his home state (Oklahoma). He was also the No. 14 dual-threat quarterback and the No. 291 overall recruit, per 247Sports Composite.

As of right now, Nebraska has the lone crystal ball prediction for Thompson.
