Fox Sports put out a list of the ranked teams who have not yet raced a ranked opponent and 2 B1G teams made that list, No. 2 Ohio State and No. 17 Illinois.
Neither one of them has played a top-25 opponent this season with the exception of when the Buckeyes faced Notre Dame at the beginning of the season. Of course, the Fighting Irish are no longer ranked.
For the Buckeyes, that all changes when they face No. 13 Penn State Saturday morning.
Through Week 8, only these four AP Top 25 teams have had zero games this season vs currently ranked opponents 👀

Once they do that, that should end talk about the Buckeyes having an easy schedule. As for the Fighting Illni, they don’t face any ranked teams for the remainder of the season.
The B1G West leaders will basically have a cakewalk to the B1G Championship game if they can get through the remainder of their schedule.
If they were to do that, they will more than likely have to face either a high-ranked Ohio State team or Michigan. But that’s a long way to do but whose to say that either team won’t drop one before they potentially face each other at the end of the season?
