It’s nearly impossible for college coaches to escape football. Whether it’s practice, recruiting, film, etc., everything revolves around the gridiron. That seems pretty standard.

You would think, then, with so much of their lives devoted to the game, that coaches would want a temporary escape during a bye week.

Not for Pat Fitzgerald.

On Monday night, the Northwestern head coach tweeted a photo that shows him not just watching football, but has multiple screens going on the first night of the bye week:

At least we know the coach is relaxing this week, with the recliner up and the Wildcat tie-blanket in full force.

It might be a little easier for Fitzgerald to enjoy this off week after beating Iowa 38-31 on Saturday to capture the first B1G win of the season.
