Pat Fitzgerald hates on cell phones again, responds to staff change questions following Iowa loss

This season hit a new low for Northwestern on Saturday.
The Wildcats have been close in some games, but they were outmatched from the start against Iowa. The team was lifeless in a 20-0 shutout loss to Iowa despite playing at home.
Their sixth overall loss of the season, it dropped the Wildcats to 1-6 overall and a winless 0-5 record in B1G play. After the game, Pat Fitzgerald had more critical things to say about the impact of cell phones on society.
In particular, Fitzgerald was upset by the way some players went straight for their cell phones in the locker room before heading to the showers.
SB Nation’s Inside NU shared Fitzgerald’s comments:
Specifically, Fitz was concerned about players looking at their phones in the postgame locker room before taking a shower https://t.co/Dcv0vM9RoP

Fitzgerald was also asked about potential changes to his coaching staff. While that maybe something he addresses in the offseason, he said the team will not evaluate it until the season is over.
Credit where credit is due: this was not an evasive answer. Fitz seems willing to really evaluate his staff, just not until the offseason

Hopefully, the Wildcats can turn this thing around and string together some wins. However, reaching bowl eligibility is now an extremely tough task with five games remaining.
