The Steelers beat the Bengals 23-20. However, they shouldn’t have even been in that position. Joe Burrow hit Ja’Marr Chase as the clock expired in the 4th quarter for a TD after being down 20-14. Bengals’ kicker Evan McPherson missed the extra point, sending the game to OT.
Trubisky had 194 yards passing with 1 touchdown in his debut with the Steelers. It’s early on, but he seems to know how to run the offense.
Freiermuth and the Steelers play the New England Patriots on Sept. 18 at noon ET next.
