Are you an NFL fan? In particular, are you a Buffalo Bills, Houston Texans, Minnesota Vikings or New Orleans Saints fan?
If so, your team was affected by the NFL’s overtime rules. Sometimes, it seems as though the rules are fair. Other times, not so much.
As it stands, there’s a coin toss that starts the period. The winner of the coin toss then chooses to receive the kick and if it scores a touchdown, the game is over. If not, the other team gets a chance to either respond with a field goal or win the game with a touchdown. If no scoring happens, the game just continues to go on until someone scores.
