Pat McAfee and the College GameDay crew are in Austin for a Week 8 matchup between Georgia and Texas. However, McAfee is already looking forward to next week’s College GameDay.

The former punter mentioned on Saturday that the Week 8 game between Nebraska and Indiana could have “College GameDay implications.”

This is due to Nebraska facing Ohio State in Week 9. If the Huskers beat the Hoosiers in Week 8, the team would almost certainly be ranked for the Week 9 matchup, making Columbus a logical GameDay location.

The Hoosiers enter this game undefeated. The team has been one of college football’s biggest surprises, sitting at 6-0 after going 3-9 in 2023.

The Huskers are a good story in their own right. The team already has 5 wins after winning 5 games all of last season. The lone blemish on the Huskers’ resume in 2024 is a loss to Illinois.

The Hoosiers are No. 4 in the nation in total offense, No. 2 in scoring offense, and No. 10 in passing offense.

In Week 8, the Hoosiers should get their toughest defensive test. The Huskers boast the No. 13 total defense, No. 7 scoring defense, and No. 7 rushing defense.

These B1G rivals will kick off from Memorial Stadium at noon ET.
