Patrick McCaffery has not played in a game for Iowa since Jan. 1 due to mental health reasons. He made sure to let everyone know how he’s doing and thank them for their continued support.
McCaffery averages 12.8 points per game when on the court.
In his Twitter post he talked about how much it means to have so many people behind him. McCaffery revealed that he will return to the court when ready.
“Have been off Twitter but wanted to come back and just thank everybody for their support,” said McCaffery. “It means the world to my family and I. I am taking this time to find peace, and will be back on the court with my brothers when I am ready.”

Iowa is 10-6 on the year so far. The Hawkeyes have beaten Indiana and Rutgers in their last two outings. Iowa takes on Michigan next in Iowa City.
