One of the most recognizable voices in college football will be with ESPN for a little bit longer.
Monday, ESPN announced that Paul Finebaum has agreed to a multi-year contract extension with ESPN Radio and SEC Network. He joined the network in 2013 after hosting a popular radio show for 20 years.
He is the host of The Paul Finebaum Show on ESPN Network, a program largely dedicated to SEC football. The show features multiple callers, some famous and others infamous, giving fans a louder voice than other programs.
“I’m excited to continue our show on SEC Network and be part of the talented team at ESPN,” Finebaum said, per AL.com. “One of my favorite things about this role is connecting with our listeners, and I’m truly looking forward to bringing our show to campuses again this fall. Especially over the past year, I’ve gotten a firsthand look at what our show means to those who tune in every day, and it’s a responsibility I’m honored to have.”
Along with his radio program, Finebaum has made appearances and is a guest on several ESPN shows, including College GameDay, First Take, Get Up!, SportsCenter, College Football Live and others.
The news out of ESPN comes as SEC Media Days kicks off this week.
