With the first College Football Playoff rankings just around the corner, everyone is weighing in on who they believe should occupy the top four spots.

Recently, ESPN college football analyst and SEC radio host Paul Finebaum gave his opinion on which four teams he believed were the best in the country right now. And it isn’t too surprising that he has two teams from conference he covers in the final four.

Finebaum believes Alabama, Georgia and Notre Dame belong in the top three spots of the Playoff conversation. His fourth team was a bit of a debate, but he eventually committed to putting Ohio State in that final spot.

“My last one was difficult and you could make the case for a coupe schools, but based on what I saw from Ohio State, they’re ready to play,” Finebaum said. “I’ve defended Alabama’s schedule, but after Friday night at Boston College, I can no longer say beating Florida State was S(quality)…it just doesn’t work. The reason the committee is ranking Alabama No. 1 is because they’re dominating everyone every week.”

Ohio State is coming off a huge come-from-behind win over Penn State on Saturday, catapulting the Buckeyes into the College Football Playoff discussion again.

While the Buckeyes will likely be in the picture Tuesday night, Wisconsin and the Nittany Lions probably won’t be too far behind.
