Paul Finebaum predicts College Football Playoff field, projects Ohio State’s fate

College football Paul Finebaum has predicted who will make the College Football Playoff and there’s really not any surprises with his four teams.
He has Alabama getting in after they play Florida in the SEC Championship, Clemson, Notre Dame (even though they’ll play Clemson again in the ACC Championship), and Ohio State.
Finebaum went on the Dan Patrick Show this week to discuss it and his full thoughts on his top four.
“I’d say it’s Alabama,” Finebaum said this week on the Dan Patrick Show, via Saturday Down South. “I think Clemson will beat Notre Dame (in the upcoming ACC Championship Game), so Clemson get in there, I think Notre Dame will still get in there and it will be Ohio State. Just like we ordered it before the season.”
Finebaum and others have expressed concern about Ohio State only playing six games, but he still believes the Buckeyes will be included.
This is the penultimate week of the college football season. All major conference championships will take place the weekend of Dec. 19, with the final four teams being selected shortly after.
We’ll have to see if those predictions turn out to be true in a couple of weeks once the final rankings come out.
