The regular season has come to a close.
Week 13 was rivalry week and Ohio State hosted Michigan. The No. 10 Buckeyes were underdogs at home for the first time under Urban Meyer and Ohio State delivered, proving Vegas wrong with its 62-39 win.
The Wolverines seemed to be clicking on all cylinders and head coach Jim Harbaugh was proving his doubters wrong up until “The Game.” However, Ohio State opened up the thought that maybe Harbaugh isn’t the right guy for the maize and blue.
Maybe Harbaugh truly is overrated. We’ve heard it all before.
Following the 23-point beat-down, Paul Finebaum and Stephen A. Smith took to Twitter:
This has been stunningly embarrassing for Jim Harbaugh.
— Paul Finebaum (@finebaum) November 24, 2018
Hey @finebaum, no need to apologize any longer about getting on Harbaugh. After this embarrassing defensive performance by @UMichFootball, I can’t utter a word in his defense. What a disgusting defensive performance. Worse loss of Harbaugh’s career? I think so
— Stephen A Smith (@stephenasmith) November 25, 2018
Finebaum ended up retweeting Smith’s tweet, and this is just the beginning of what we’ll hear about Harbaugh over the next few weeks. Michigan’s next and final game will be a bowl game and once again, the Wolverines are falling short of not only the College Football Playoff, but defeating Ohio State.
