Michigan State had a bad start against Purdue but that was quickly nullified by a game-tying touchdown.

After the Boilermakers opened the scoring thanks to an Aidan O’Connell touchdown pass, Spartans quarterback Payton Thorne came right back and threw a TD pass to Tre Mosley.

On 3rd-and-long, Thorne was able to escape a bit of pressure and roll out to his right, and hit Mosley who was open in the endzone.

This was Thorne’s 16th touchdown pass of the season after having 15 in 8 games. His TD/INT ratio is now 16/6 and has a chance to get even better as the game goes on.

Mosley had no touchdown receptions coming into this contest until he caught this one. He had 21 receptions for 321 yards through MSU’s first 8 games.

The game is currently being televised by ABC.
