Payton Thorne led the Spartans to a thrilling OT win over Wisconsin in Week 7. The Spartans ended their 4-game losing streak with the 34-28 conference victory.
Thorne also commented on the impressive 97-yard TD drive in the 2nd half, calling it “very satisfying.”

The Spartans have experienced trouble sustaining drives during their month-long streak, with Thorne having an especially tough outing against Ohio State. Before the win over Wisconsin, the Spartans suffered losses to Washington, Minnesota, Maryland, and Ohio State.
The win moves the Spartans to 3-4 overall and 1-2 in B1G play. The Spartans will enjoy a bye week before traveling to Ann Arbor in Week 9.
