While Alabama’s Bryce Young appears to be the heavy favorite to capture the Heisman Trophy, it remains to be seen who else will head to New York as finalists. The Chick-fil-a Peach Bowl has the chance to feature multiple finalists if the vote goes just right.
Pittsburgh is led by quarterback Kenny Pickett who ranks among the national passing leaders. He threw for over 4,300 yards with 42 touchdowns for the ACC Champion Panthers.
Meanwhile, Michigan State is led by running back Kenneth Walker III. Walker ranks 2nd in FBS with 1,646 yards rushing and scored 18 touchdowns on the ground for the Spartans. He was also a favorite to win the award before a low output vs. Ohio State.
During Sunday’s Peach Bowl teleconference, CEO Gary Stokan specifically highlighted Pickett and Walker and 2 of “the greatest players in the game.” Stokan also indicated he believes both should be in New York as Heisman Finalists.

It should be a thrilling matchup in Atlanta. The Peach Bowl is set for Thursday, Dec. 30.
