Penn State made a big pickup for its wide receiver room on Saturday.
Syracuse transfer Trebor Pena, who earned All-ACC recognition, has committed to continue his career with the Nittany Lions. Pena announced his commitment to Penn State via Hayes Fawcett of On3.
Pena heads to Penn State after 5 seasons at Syracuse. The 2020 season does not count against Pena’s eligibility due to COVID-19 conditions. Pena’s eligibility was further extended when he redshirted in 2023 after having his season limited to 1 game because of injury.
In his career, Pena has logged 109 receptions for 1,212 yards and 10 touchdowns. The bulk of that production came this past season.
Pena had a breakout season in 2024. He played in every game of Syracuse’s season, making 10 starts for the Orange. Pena led Syracuse in receptions with 84 catches for 941 yards and 9 touchdowns. Pena’s standout season earned him second-team All-ACC recognition.
