Penn State continues to trend toward a top-15 recruiting class in 2023, and James Franklin’s program landed another pledge Monday evening ahead of the Early Signing Period.
The player is Cameron Wallace, a 3-star prospect out of Mount Vernon, Georgia. Wallace also held offers from Indiana, Michigan State, West Virginia, Washington State, Vanderbilt and others at the time of his commitment.

Listed at 6-feet and 180 lbs., the 247Sports Composite rates Wallace as the No. 89 ATH in the country. After being recruited by Ja’Juan Seider to Happy Valley, it looks like Wallace will join 4-star running back London Montgomery as players pledged to the Nittany Lion backfield in 2023.
Prior to Wallace’s commitment, the Nittany Lions held the No. 12 recruiting class in the nation per the 247Sports Composite. Penn State is also up to 23 commitments for the cycle.
