Penn State is pushing toward a top-5 recruiting class nationally for the 2023 cycle. On Tuesday, the Nittany Lions added a commitment from another key prospect.
This time, the commitment comes from Tomarrion Parker, a 4-star defensive lineman out of Phenix City, Alabama. Parker pledged to the Nittany Lions over a host of Power 5 offers, including from SEC powerhouses Alabama, Auburn, Georgia and Florida. He also held B1G offers from Michigan, Michigan State and Ohio State.

Parker is listed at 6-foot-4 and 255 lbs. According to the 247 Sports Composite Rankings, Parker is the No. 8 DL in the country and the No. 80 overall prospect regardless of position.
With his commitment, Penn State is up to the No. 3 recruiting class on the ream rankings for the class of 2023. That is the 2nd-best recruiting class out of the B1G as things currently stand, trailing only Ohio State. That group includes 3 top-100 commitments and is headlined by 4-star IOL Alex Birchmeier.
