Penn State has made some additions to its future non-conference schedules.

Wednesday, Penn State sent out a release stating that it had added Ohio and UMass to its future schedules. The Nittany Lions will host both opponents.

Ohio will travel to Happy Valley in 2022 and UMass will make the trip the following year. Penn State have also scheduled a home-and-home with UMass in men’s basketball as part of the agreement.

With the announcement, Penn State’s 2022 and 2023 schedules are no set. In 2022, the Nittany Lions will play Ohio, Auburn and Central Michigan in non-conference action. They will then battle West Virginia, Delaware and UMass in 2023.

Penn State has played Ohio six times on the gridiron, owning a 5-1 series record. The Bobcats won the most recent meeting in 2012.

It will mark just the second time Penn State has played UMass, with the Nittany Lions winning the only matchup in 2014.
