After obliterating Akron in the season opener on Saturday, Penn State is a huge favorite against in-state rival Pitt.
Ben Jones of StateCollege.com tweeted that the Nittany Lions originally opened as a 16-point favorite, but several lines in Vegas have pushed that to 19. It’s a pretty sizeable advantage for such an intense rivalry:
Penn State has opened a 16 point favorite over Pitt and line has already moved to 19 a lot of places.

Penn State clobbered Akron 52-0 nothing as Saquon Barkley rushed for 172 yards and two touchdowns. Pitt, on the other hand, narrowly escaped a scare from Youngstown State, beating the Penguins 28-21 in overtime.
Pitt-Penn State is scheduled at 3:30 p.m. and will be aired on ABC. The Panthers beat the Nittany Lions 42-39 last season.
