Penn State lost quarterback Drew Allar to injury, but defeated Wisconsin 28-13 on Saturday to improve to 7-0 ahead of a massive Top 5 game against Ohio State in Happy Valley. The Nittany Lions held a 419-298 edge in offensive yardage while outrushing the Badgers 173-81, committing just 6 penalties on the night as they won their sixth straight game in the all-time series.

Beau Pribula, who replaced Allar in the second half, was 11-of-13 for 98 yards and a touchdown while running 6 times for 28 yards. The Nittany Lions’ backup quarterback, a redshirt sophomore, was named the team’s offensive player of the week for his efforts.

On defense, Jaylen Reed received honors for his performance after recording 4 tackles and a pick-6. The safety has a team-high 44 tackles and 2 interceptions on the season after posting 46 tackles in all of 2023.

Luke Reynolds, Dominic Rulli, and Cooper Cousins wrapped up the list as they were named special teams players of the week.

The Nittany Lions’ attention now turns to Week 10 as they host the Buckeyes, with both teams looking to keep pace with Indiana and Oregon’s 5-0 conference records. A Penn State win would move it to 5-0 in the Big Ten and drop Ohio State down to 3-2 with just a few weeks remaining in the regular season.
