Penn State’s WR coach Taylor Stubblefield has been impressed with a certain member of the receiving core. The Athletic’s Audrey Snyder posted about the news.
Stubblefield has been particularly impressed with freshman wideout Kaden Saunders. Saunders was a former 4-star recruit per the 247Sports Composite. He was also the No. 7 WR and No. 4 Ohio recruit from the 2022 class.
“Saunders has put himself in a position to potentially be in the rotation,” said Stubblefield. “We’ll see what it is. What I’ve appreciated about Kaden is the things I’ve asked him to fix. He may not like hearing about it at the time, but he digests it and fixes it.”

Saunders will have his work cut out for him, as he’ll have to compete with the other Penn State receivers in the rotation. Mitchell Tinsley, Parker Washington, and KeAndre Lambert-Smith will most likely be Sean Clifford’s top wideouts.
The freshman WR has plenty of time to make an impression.
