Penn State confirms no spectators allowed for Senior Day game vs. Michigan State

The parents and family members of Penn State football players will not be permitted to watch Saturday’s game from inside Beaver Stadium, due to changes in a statewide policy. The school’s athletic department confirmed the news on Friday morning.
Governor Tom Wolf announced this week that athletic events at the professional and collegiate level are permitted to continue but that spectators are not allowed to attend. Based on that policy, Penn State will comply and will not allow fans in any capacity this weekend.

General admission fans have not been permitted to attend games at any venue in the B1G this season, as that was part of the policy when the league returned to play. However, small numbers of parents and family members of players and coaches have been allowed to sit inside the stadium.
The news is particularly disappointing for the parents and family members of seniors at Penn State who could be playing in their final game with the program.
The kickoff times for Saturday’s game has also been adjusted. Kickoff is now set for 12 p.m. ET, moved from 3;30.
