Quarterbacks are going to have a really difficult time escaping Penn State defensive end Jayson Oweh this fall.
Wednesday afternoon, Oweh tweeted out the time he recently posted in the 40-yard dash, and it was unbelievably fast. The pass rusher clocked in at a blazing 4.33, which is scary good. It’s so good, in fact, it would’ve been the fastest time at the NFL Combine among defensive ends by a pretty good margin.
The fastest time posted among defensive linemen this year was Montez Sweat, who posted a 4.41 time.
4.33!!!! Talk To Me Nice🤮

Oweh was a member of Penn State’s 2018 recruiting class and was a four-star prospect. He was ranked as one of the top 100 players in the cycle and was a top five strong-side defensive end, per 247Sports.
In his first season in Happy Valley, Oweh appeared in four games, recording four tackles and two sacks. He was able to maintain a redshirt and still has all four years of eligibility left.
Earlier this spring, James Franklin said Penn State’s defensive ends have the potential to be the best position group on the team and one of the top units in the B1G. It’s easy to see why he’s so confident in that group.
