PFF rewarded Robinson’s performance this season with a 91.3 mark. This grade made him the highest-graded defender out of every Power 5 team. Robinson recorded 1 sack and 1 quarterback hurry in the Auburn game.
He pressured TJ Finley and Robby Ashford throughout the game and was a terror on the edge for Penn State. Robinson had a forced fumble and 2 fumble recoveries against Auburn.
Robinson recorded his 1st sack of the season and he helped the defense remain in control for 4 quarters in a hostile environment. In 2 games against Ohio and Auburn, Robinson has 3 total tackles, 1 sack, 1 forced fumble, 2 recovered fumbles, and 1 pass deflection.
Robinson, a sophomore, is in his 1st season at Penn State. He transferred to Penn State in the offseason and has made an immediate impact. He transferred from Maryland, which was where he played his freshman season.
In his lone season at Maryland, Robinson recorded 19 total tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, and 2 sacks in 13 games.
Penn State will hope to see more from Robinson in this week’s game against Central Michigan.
