James Franklin and the Nittany Lions are celebrating in Happy Valley after landing a commitment from one of the top running backs of the 2019 recruiting class.
Wednesday, IMG Academy running back Noah Cain committed to Penn State, boasting an already-impressive class even higher. The 4-star running back chose the Nittany Lions over Georgia, Auburn, Tennessee and Texas.
Cain has hovered around 247Sports’ top 100 prospects in the 2019 class all season long.

With Cain’s commitment, Penn State now has the second-best recruiting class in the B1G and is flirting with a top 10 class overall.
Cain is ranked as the No. 7 running back of the 2019 cycle and is a top 15 talent out of Florida. He joins another talented running back, Devyn Ford, toc omit to Penn State.
The Nittany Lions now have commitments from five players ranked in ESPN’s top 300.
