Due to lightning strikes around Spartans Stadium, the game between No. 7 Penn State and No. 24 Michigan State has endured a lengthy weather delay.
The first strike came around 1:15 p.m. ET with continual bolts striking throughout the afternoon. At around 2:30 p.m., officials from Michigan State said the game would not resume until at least 4 p.m. ET.
If lightning continues to strike in the area, the delay could be extended.

Penn State went into the weather delay with a 14-7 lead with over seven minutes remaining in the first half. Both teams are currently 4-1 in the B1G.
Since the delay came in the middle of the second quarter, there was no announcement about whether or not there would actually be a halftime when the period concluded.
