No player had a bigger impact on Penn State’s White Out victory over Auburn than Nittany Lions quarterback Sean Clifford.
And Penn State Offensive Coordinator Mike Yurcich called out the Nittany Lions QB, “I’m excited for him. He’s come a far way in a short period of time & I can’t wait to see how much further we can go,” said Yurcich.
Here’s Yurcich’s full thoughts on Clifford’s progress so far this season:

Auburn had taken task with Clifford’s passing game by focusing on the Nittany Lions rushing attack, and he responded by connecting on 28-of-32 passes for 280 yards, even rushing for 24 yards on 5 carries. He also had two scores and one interception.
Clifford led the Penn State offense that compiled 391 total yards in the game, and the result was the first time in program history that Penn State has defeated two ranked opponents in their first three games of the season – the Nittany Lions defeated No. 18 Wisconsin, 16-10 in the season opener. Also, the win marks the first regular-season victory over an SEC opponent since Penn State defeated Alabama 9-0 in 1990.
The Nittany Lions welcome Villanova to Beaver Stadium on Saturday, Sept 25 for an 11:00 AM kickoff.
