Penn State true freshman offensive tackle Maleek McNeil is no longer with the Nittany Lions.
After a Monday morning search on PSU’s online football roster, McNeil’s name brings up a page with the words “page you’re looking for no longer exists.” Johnny McGonigal with Penn Live was among the people to report on McNeil’s page deletion.

There has been no word on what is next for the true freshman. He could end up in the Transfer Portal and continue his football career somewhere else, but that is unclear at this point.
McNeil, a 6-foot-7 offensive lineman from Cortlandt Manor, NY played at Walter Panas High School and set foot on Penn State’s campus back in the summer. He was one of the class of 2022 offensive linemen for the Nittany Lions, marking them down to a total of three on its roster with McNeil’s departure.
The now three 2022 offensive linemen listed for the Nittany Lions include left tackle Drew Shelton, guard Vega Ioane and transfer versatile tackle JB Nelson.
Penn State will be back in action Saturday at Rutgers. Kickoff is slated for 3:30 p.m. ET televised on Big Ten Network.
