Penn State picks up 2024 commitment from DB out of Florida

Penn State has a new addition to its 2024 recruiting class.

Antoine “AJ” Belgrave-Shorter, a defensive back out of Florida, has pledged to play for the Nittany Lions. He shared the big news Monday on his Twitter account.

Out of Jacksonville, Florida, Belgrave-Shorter is listed at 6-feet, 180 pounds. Belgrave-Shorter is rated 3-stars, the No. 53 cornerback, No. 87 Florida product and No. 616 prospect overall nationally in the 2024 recruiting class on the 247Sports composite rankings.

Belgrave-Shorter tweeted about visiting Penn State in October 2022. James Franklin’s staff extended a scholarship offer to the Mandarin High School standout in January.

He recently returned to PSU for a visit as a 2024 target.
