Penn State responds to Minnesota’s quick start with 45-yard TD by Journey Brown

The fireworks have started early and often in Minneapolis!

Penn State is taking on Minnesota in one of the most anticipated games of Week 11. Both teams are undefeated and playing well, and both teams have scored quickly.

Minnesota opened the scoring with a long touchdown to Rashod Bateman. That drive was set up after an early interception by Penn State quarterback Sean Clifford.

Fortunately, the Nittany Lions responded quickly. Clifford hit tight end Pat Freiermuth on a crucial third down to put Penn State in Minnesota territory.

From there, a quick handoff to Journey Brown went the rest of the way. The blocking set up beautifully with Brown racing around the left side and down the sideline.

He outran Minnesota’s defense all the way to the endzone to tie the game at 7-all:
