It comes as no surprise, but the Penn State student section received recognition from ESPN for setting an incredible atmosphere in the Week 3 White Out.

As usual, the White Out was a sight to behold with Beaver Stadium rocking from start to finish. Making it even better, Penn State finished off the game with a win over Auburn to improve to 3-0 on the season.

On Wednesday, it was officially announced by ESPN’s Rece Davis that the Nittanyville student section was awarded the Live Más Student Section of the Week award.

Here’s what ESPN’s release had to say about Nittanyville:

What other student section camps out days before the game, is up early for College Gameday and still has the energy and endurance to make so much noise all game long that even the officials were making mistakes? Nittanyville brought so much #StudentSectionSauce that they easily earned the honor of Live Más Student Section of the Week.

Now, Penn State will turn its attention to Villanova in Week 4.
