Penn State pulled off an impressive upset of Indiana at State College on Wednesday night. The Nittany Lions beat the Hoosiers 85-66.
Penn State let it rain from three-point rage, hitting 18 of its 31 attempted three pointers. The number of three pointers made tied a school record in the win.
Seth Lundy and Andrew Funk led the team in scoring. Lundy dropped in 25 points, while Funk cashed in 23 points.
Funk hit an open three-pointer during the first half after a pass from Camren Wynter to extend Penn State’s lead.

Lundy made some history during the game as well. Lundy drove to the rim and achieved 1,000 career points with a slam dunk. Lundy’s career with Penn State has been fun to watch over the years.

Evan Mahaffey even got in on the dunking action, picking up an offensive rebound and slamming it home. Mahaffey finished with 12 points and 3 rebounds.

The win moves Penn State 12-5 on the year. This win snaps a two-game losing streak by the Nittany Lions. The team’s last win came on New Year’s Day against Iowa.
The road isn’t going to get any easier for Penn State, however. Next up on the schedule is a ranked matchup with Wisconsin in Madison on Jan. 17. That game will tipoff 8:30 p.m. ET on BTN.
