When No. 19-ranked Michigan takes on No. 2-ranked Penn State at Beaver Stadium on Saturday night, each team’s defense could play a crucial role in the final outcome of the game

In a game that Michigan (5-1) desperately needs to win, their defense will have to figure out a way to slow down Heisman favorite and Penn State (6-0) tailback Saquon Barkley.

The 5-foot-11, 230-pound junior running back has accumulated 649 yards on the ground this season and six rushing scores. He also been a weapon in the passing game, tallying 395 receiving yards and two receiving TDs.
