Penn State is known for having electric atmospheres each game in Happy Valley. Whether it’s Ohio State or some random team that nobody’s heard of, the Nittany Lions’ fan base does an incredible job at making each Saturday feel massive.

What Penn State has done in the past for those games against rivals or highly-ranked opponents is issue for a “White Out.” This means that every fan in the stadium — presumably a Nittany Lions fan — wears all white to give the stadium that extra sweet look and feel.

Well, Penn State is headed down to Texas to take on Memphis in the Cotton Bowl on Saturday, Dec. 28. That being said, the Nittany Lions are still looking for every fan to wear white:

Will it be exactly the same type of feel as it would be in Happy Valley? Probably not. But if you’re at the game or want to cheer on the Nittany Lions, the message is simple.

Wear white.
