There were a lot of eyes on Saturday evening’s Fiesta Bowl between Penn State and Washington. And all of those viewers got to witness a pretty exciting matchup.

According to ESPN PR’s Twitter account, Saturday night’s game drew over 10.1 millions viewers, becoming the most-watched non-College Football Playoff Fiesta Bowl of the New Year’s Six era.

The game surpassed the New Year’s Day Fiesta Bowl between Ohio State and Notre Dame in 2016.

Penn State jumped out to an early 28-7 lead over Washington in the first half, but the Huskies were able to claw their way back into the contest. The Nittany Lions were able to hang on, though, clinging to a 35-28 win.

Though neither team was competing for a national title, both still put on a pretty good show on Saturday night.
