Penn State is looking for a bounceback season after a strong finish to 2020, and one position group to watch entering 2021 is wide receiver.

That group is led by Taylor Stubblefield who joined the Nittany Lions prior to the shortened 2020 campaign. Now getting a full offseason under their belts, Stubblefield and the wide receivers will look to contribute a bit more this season.

Wednesday evening, Stubblefield met with the media to discuss the growth of his receivers during camp. He highlighted a couple of young players, including freshmen Harrison Wallace and Liam Clifford. Second-year players like KeAndre Lambert-Smith and Malick Meiga could also factor into the rotation.

All-in-all, Stubblefield believes there are a number of young players that could see playing time alongside Jahan Dotson and Parker Washington.

Here’s a look at everything Stubblefield had to say from Wednesday:

Penn State and the wide receiver group will not have to wait to get a test in 2021. The Nittany Lions open against Wisconsin and a veteran Badgers defense on Sept. 4. They will also get a visit from Auburn in the third game of the season on Sept. 18.
