Penn State has learned its full league slate for the 2024 season with the B1G’s schedule release on Thursday.

The Nittany Lions will welcome Oregon, Washington, USC and UCLA to the new 18-team B1G as that quartet makes the jump from the Pac-12. Penn State will face three of those teams in 2024 but will have to make just one trip to the West Coast next season.

In addition to the B1G slate, Penn State will face West Virginia, Bowling Green and Kent State in the nonconference portion of the schedule.

The first league game of the season will come via a Michigan State vs. Maryland matchup on Sept. 7 while the rest of the league heats up toward the end of September. Nebraska’s first B1G game is set for Sept. 28 vs. Illinois.

For the first time in a while, the Nittany Lions will open the B1G slate at home with back-to-back home games in the conference. However, it is far from an easy path down the stretch for Penn State.

As a part of the release, the B1G noted certain Saturday games in the 2024 season may be adjusted to select Fridays and other special dates, including Labor Day Sunday and Black Friday. The league championship game is set for Dec. 7, 2024, from Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.

Here is Penn State’s full schedule for 2024:

  • Aug. 31: at West Virginia

  • Sept. 14: bye
  • Sept. 21: vs. Kent State
