Penn State’s Jesse Luketa earns PFF honor after excellent outing vs. Ball State

The Penn State Nittany Lions seem to be back at the top of the B1G after the 4-5 2020 season.

The Nittany Lions are  in the top 10 as they come in the right at No.10 in the Week 3 edition of the AP Top-25 Poll.

Penn State is coming off a 44-13 win against the Ball State Cardinals. The defense had another dominant performance earning one of the players national honors.

LB Jesse Luketa earned PFF Defensive MVP of the Week with a grade of 92.0.

Luketa had 4 tackles and a pick-six in the win against the Cardinals.
In 3 seasons and 2 games with the Nittany Lions, Luketa has 99 total tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss, 1 interception, 1 touchdown and 1 fumble recovery.

This week, the Nittany Lions have a colossal non-conference matchup as they welcome the No.22 Auburn Tigers to town.
