Jabrill Peppers made it clear that he’s not worthy of a Charles Woodson comparison. Yet.

The former five-star recruit addressed reporters on Thursday during Michigan’s annual media day. When asked about being compared to the former Heisman Trophy winner, the Michigan defensive back said:

Peppers, who missed nearly all of his freshman season with leg injuries, only has one career start under his belt. The redshirt freshman did address questions about his potential three-way use in Jim Harbaugh’s system.

“I don’t know anything about that yet,” Peppers said. “But whatever he wants me to do is what I got to do.”

Peppers did say that he was comfortable playing on the offensive side, whether it was at receiver, running back, slot or quarterback.

“Pretty much anywhere but the line,” he said.
