Peter Skoronski’s departure from Northwestern has been confirmed. The Wildcats OL will be heading to the 2023 NFL Draft.

Skoronski played in all 12 games for Northwestern this season. Northwestern finished the regular season at 1-11, missing on bowl season for the second year in a row.

Skoronski stated that he originally planned to stay at Northwestern for four years, but the university put him in a position where he can leave early.

“I am ready to fulfill my dream by announcing that I will declare for the 2023 NFL Draft. I had always planned to be here for four years, but Northwestern has put in me in a position that allows me to leave early. I am especially grateful to Coach Fitz and Coach Anderson. My time at Northwestern my special and I will forever be a Wildcat.”

Northwestern recently produced OL Rashawn Slater, who is now in the NFL with the L.A. Chargers. Slater went to the Pro Bowl as a rookie last season.
