Peyton Manning was losing his mind over Denver Broncos’ late-game decisions in Week 1 loss

In last night’s ‘Monday Night Football’ game, Peyton Manning showed that he is just like the rest of us.

During the final minute between the Denver Broncos and Seattle Seahawks, the Broncos failed to utilize the clock and Manning had to bring attention to this absurd turn of events while on ESPN2’s ‘Manning Cast’ with his brother Eli.

During the game’s ending, Peyton was seen doing the timeout signal from his couch, to no avail to show what he would have done differently.

The Broncos had a total of three timeouts to cap off the game, and instead waited a total of 30 seconds before calling a timeout.

“Yeah, I think we should call a timeout, like now,” Manning said desperately of the mishap on the field for the Broncos eating up the clock and in turn bringing out the kicker for a 64-yard kick.

Brandon McManus, the Broncos kicker, failed to execute the 64-yard kick, thus giving the one-point victory to the Seahawks.

With the amount of confidence that was put into Russell Wilson in the offseason, this 4th-and-5 play could have been played differently.

But, this was only Week 1 for the Broncos and there’s plenty of room to recalibrate the strategy moving forward.
