Ranking just the Top 25 teams in college football is an incredibly difficult task. Trying to rank all 130 programs at the FBS level is almost impossible.
Still, Pro Football Focus (PFF) accepted that challenge and released its ELO rankings for the upcoming 2021 college football season. Six teams from the B1G cracked the Top 25, with two of those landing in the Top 10.
Ohio State led the way for the conference, coming in at No. 3 on the list. Iowa also cracked the Top 10, listed at No. 9 in the preseason poll. The B1G’s lowest-ranked squad was Rutgers, which came in at No. 108.
Here’s a look at where all 14 B1G teams ranked, according to PFF:
No. 3: Ohio State Buckeyes
No. 9: Iowa Hawkeyes
No. 14: Wisconsin Badgers
No. 19: Penn State Nittany Lions
No. 24: Indiana Hoosiers
No. 25: Michigan Wolverines
