A former Michigan defensive tackle is in and a former Michigan State linebacker is out.
On Tuesday, the Philadelphia Eagles announced that they have signed Willie Henry and have also waived Joe Bachie. Henry is a former Wolverine defensive lineman and Bachie was a standout linebacker for the Spartans.
Henry started his career with the Baltimore Ravens and was a fourth-round selection in the 2016 NFL Draft. He spent the 2020 season with the San Francisco 49ers and was waived by the Houston Texans earlier this offseason.

Henry has played in 18 career games in the NFL and is credited with 36 tackles and 4.5 sacks. He also has 5 pass deflections and a fumble recovery during his time in the league.
At Michigan, Henry was credited with 85 tackles, 18 for loss and 9.5 sacks. He spent three seasons on the field in Ann Arbor before declaring for the NFL Draft.
Bachie was not selected in the 2020 NFL Draft out of Michigan State and had brief stops with the New Orleans Saints and Philadelphia Eagles as a member of the practice squad.
In his time at Michigan State, Bachie played in 36 games and racked up 285 stops with 28 tackles for loss. He also had 5 interceptions, 4 forced fumbles and 2 fumble recoveries in his four seasons.
