Kinnick Stadium is officially ready for the 2017 season.
Back in June, it was announced that Iowa would be making a small change to its field for the upcoming season. That change was the addition of the “Tigerhawk” logo to midfield at Kinnick Stadium.
On Thursday, the finished product was captured in a photo:

It’s not much of a change to the field, but one that seems pretty popular among Hawkeye fans. And it does give Kinnick Stadium a bit of an updated feel to it.
The change is just another reminder that the college football season is approaching quickly.
With no offense to the beloved Tigerhawk, the turf is going to look even better when it’s finally back in use on Sept. 2.
