That’s a 74-yard touchdown return to clinch Penn State’s first 0-5 season in program history.
Nixon is listed at 6-foot-3, 305 pounds.
This was the first career interception for Nixon, who has emerged as one of Iowa’s best overall defensive players. He came into this game with three sacks and 7.5 tackles for loss already this season.
With the win, Iowa snapped a 6-game losing streak to Penn State in this series. It was also the Hawkeyes’ first win on the road against Penn State since 2009.
